This is an overview with photos of my paintings and my Photoshop projects. I’ve made the paintings partly in a studio in Utrecht and at paintersclub ‘De Toets’ in Zeist.

Paintings

I’ve always been painting and drawing and in this series of paintings I’ve been working on a realistical display with a lot of color. Color is verry important for me. Often I find that there is are a lot more colors to be seen than that are actually there, and I trye to express that in my work. Color and composition together define the tension in the painting en that is wy I trye to give a lot of colors a place in my paintings. I therefore don’t only look at what’s there but also at what the painting asks for. I like to paint with a fine brush on a middelsized sound surface, with acryllics. I prefer to mix the primary colors myselve on my pallet.
